    I have read a post in the archives yesterday that seemed to suggest a good source for new power window switches, supposedly Fiat has the same as Ferrari on certain models. Now I can't find that post again.
    Does anybody have any suggestions where I can buy switches?

    I purchased two lighted ones from Ferrari UK. Turned out very nicely.

    I had a pair installed in my 308 during a major service recently. I think they came from Rutlands and were surprisingly cheap by Ferrari standards. About $35 each.

    Those may not be the same as used on a 78 308....

    Your car (I believe) uses a smaller, and different style switch that is located on the console. Early 308s have the switch on the door.

    I don't believe these Ebay switches would work on an early 308:

    Yeah those switches on ebay are different, mine have a bunch more connectors on them and have no arrows; and they are mounted on the doorpanel.
    Am I out of luck?

    Call them.

    BTW, you should be able to disassemble them, clean up the contacts and put them back togther. I did that...and even repainted the silver paint around the trim piece...they turned out nice, and worked great.

    I can't remember which switch is a good match tho. Best bet may be to take a pix of your switch & eMAIL it to their customer service person.

    I got mine at T. Rutlands for 27.00 each. '78 GTS, switches on the doors. Unlighted.

    Ferrari of UK has them also for comparable prices and two day shipping.
