    No. The schematic for the 308 looks like the clock and Oil Temp are fed off the same fuse. More goodies may be as well, but am not a 'Double-E.'

    Just remove the clock and the remove and 'tape-up' to isolate the wires on the back of it and the wiring harness.

    Easy Peasy and less than 5 minutes of work.

    Mine is under the dash on the center console about 6" from bulkhead.

    If you track the car you might want to place it somewhere that allows you to run a cable to it from outside so it can be pulled if you have a mishap.
