Wrong title, but I can't see how to edit it. Intermittent wipers work . It's LOW SPEED that does not.
My 308 wipers do not move when I move the toggle switch that is supposed to regulate fast or slow wipers to the slow position. The toggle switch is functional, it changes which terminal is hot when I move the lever, but the wipers die in that position. The wiring diagram gets real fuzzy when you try to separate out this function. Full disclosure- I believe I'm pretty good with electrics and diagrams, but I guess not today.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, I hope.
For next time is there any way to edit the title?

No, but you can "report" your own post and ask a Moderator to change it.

Are you saying that high speed works OK in both intermittent mode and constant "on" mode, but low speed does not work in either mode?

Yes- high speed works in both standard and intermittent, no low speed.

    Cheers,

Not sure about your car, but my 1988 Mondial 3.2 has a large Sipia relay that controls the intermittent wiper operation, you might want to check that. Solder joints in the stalk can also fail.

Alden thank you for your reply. It turned out that there was a bad connection at the multi-pin connector at the wiper motor.
For the moment it's all working.
