    I'm trying to get from anyone the proper install diagram for the fuel recovery canister. All connections, direction of flow and any check valves that maybe inline. The previous owner had it removed, dummy ass and the shop manual I seem to have only has a picture of the canister but not the pumbling connections.

    Any help would be great?

    Your best references will be the figure in the US 308B/S OM 150/78 and the illustration in the 161/78 US 308B/S spare parts catalog -- both available here if you don't already have them:

    Do not use the figure in the 308GT4 WSM -- that is for an earlier system and does not match the '78-'79 308.

    Thanks for manuals refs. They are great but don't always show what acutally is installed due to overlapping models. If anyone can take a picture of their canister setup that would be great. Looking to confirm where all the connections should be attached too.
