    LMAO!

posting about a boxer for sale isnt required here, we would have found out anyway when a new one was on the market. :)

Dmax was pointing out that ads are not allowed in the forums. You must place ads in the FerrariAds portion of the site. This rule is to keep the site from just becoming one great big spam site.

Don't go away mad, just go away. You had the chance to read the forum rules when you signed up.

Lighten up on Flasun folks. He did post this in FerrariAds awhile back. Not that any of you know me from Adam either, but he's for real and a SERIOUS collector with some SERIOUS toys. He may be a noob from a forum perspective, but he definately knows his cars.

I spoke with him about the Boxer awhile ago. CA emission issues detered me from moving forward.

    Peace,

    Hey DMAX,

You might want to cut him some slack. There are a lot of threads regarding fcar sales. This isn't about a Honda or MLM, so the thread could have some value to someone on Fchat. I suggest you post a few pictures here and place an add in Ferrariads.com also........

    Good Luck

Seriously, I never go to Ferrariads unless someone announces it here.

Same here, what % of cars on F ads actually sell.
seems kinda outa the way spot for buyer traffic.

I've bought both of my F-Cars from sellers on F-Chat. One on Ferrari Ads, on not. I didn't mean to jump on Flasun, we just have a lot of tools coming on here with nothing to contribute and it gets old. It's almost as annoying as the "*" vs. "*" threads.

Good point - I guess it is just easier to take when there are some pics & we know that it is his personal car & not just a salesman. For example, I have no problem with Capone's post on the same subject.

I don't think this should be a venue for posting ads. And, based on FlaSun's posts, all he's done is post ads (and complain once about someone complaining about his ads).

So I'd say whether he's a big shot collector or not, he should recognize what he's doing. It doesn't take that much browsing of the forum to realize that posting ads is inappropriate, so I don't accept that he's new or something as an excuse.

If he wants to come on here and apologize for posting the ads inappropriately, and contribute to the forum, then welcome. If not, frankly, dopplemax had it right the first time.

Interesting commentary. i thought the comments were a bit harsh but, definately aimed in the right direction. Definately a bad first impression.

I think I suggested the same thing to him about the Daytona ad. The other commentary in that thread is interesting as well.

    Regards,

    Art S.

i also think it is a bit like being a bully...or like crashing a party! it would have been a better way to anounce his intentions with a bit of a softening statement such as...

...hi i'm joe ferrari lover and collector. this may not be the appropriate forum but i am interested in selling my 64 gto. if there is any interest please contact me...if there is a more appropriate place to post this, i would appreciate the guidance...

a little bit less the party crasher and more the apologetic neighbor that wants to stop in and make an introduction! you get my drift.

To my F-Chat fellow members- Thank you for your comments. I merit your opinions. A fellow F-Chat member suggested a post, Yes - The post itself could have been somewhat more discreet. Let's see where this thread leads to in the next few upcoming day's, if there is still contraversy concerned, it will be accordingly redirected, or removed. Even though I have only recently posted once or twice- I do enjoy the other members comments, as well as the other varoius posts, and threads. I will try and jump in a little more ocassionally. I have a deep appreciation for this fine automobile, and anyone with sincere interest, please PM me, and to the others, continue to enjoy the forum.

    Welcome aboard.

One way to get folks here to take you a little more seriously, right or wrong, is to fill out your profile and post a picture there.

Can't explain it, but somehow a profile makes everyone here get all warm and fuzzy about noobs.

As for me, welcome to Fchat. Try and post some non-commercial stuff when you get a chance, and, FILL OUT THAT PROFILE.

100K? That's a rather large sum. How does it break down, roughly? I'm not challenging the cost, but rather curious as to the allocation.

The impression that car gave in its sale listing makes everyone think you can get a nice BB for $60k now, prices are all over saw one listed at $109k as well, the Boxer market is warm now as some cars that could not sell before are moving but prices are all over.
