What's the best method of redoing the interior door panels of an '81 308 GTSI. Buy a kit? Hire an upholstry shop? I also have a tear on the center console, just under the emergency break lever. Thanks
Try a search on trim kits..there are both aftermarket suppliers and some New Old stock at FerrariUK Classic Parts department.. Reoriginals in Houston Texas offers most seats as rebuilt and may have your panels, but they are pretty simple...I'd think a local trim shop that deals in high end could handle it....follow the old Jags and Roll Royces! Matt Jones at Reoriginals.....
Yep. and door panels. I also got my carpet kit from them. I did a interior redo thread back in oct? or nov of last year. I had the hand brake tear too. Lucky for me that they are only about 30 minutes from my house.
Here it is. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77370&highlight=308+carpet+console+gahh
You can also buy the covers and have it done locally. I bought door panel covers and someday they will be back in the car. At the rate my job's going though I probably should have shipped them to Cali and back and the car would be done by now. The good part about buying the door panels for my car (78 308) was that they came with the locking pockets.
