    Hi Everyone getting ready for spring and I need to order some new oil filters for my 81 308 and was thinking of getting the Baldwin B253. I'm currently using the UFI's. The question I have is that the B253's that I've seen are red and this one at this web site I was thinking about ordering from comes in white. http://www.bfwebexpress.com/catalog.asp (type in b253 in the box and it should bring up the pic) Is there any difference between the red or white? Thanks for your help.

    Paul the Baldwin is ok and I think you will find that it will be red as that pic looks like it's taken in B/W

    Hi maurice70. Thanks I got the filters today in the mail and yes they are red like you said.

    Either one is fine, they both have the stand up pipe inside.

    But I notice most people here prefer the Baldwin, maybe because they're cheaper.

    $20+ (dealer) for UFI vs $9.00 for Baldwin.
