Wondering if anyone knows of a dealer that has them in stock. I am being told replacement tires are considered a special order with a 60-90 days wait period. I have exhausted my search, so hoping other owners might have some experience or know a dealer which may have them in stock.

no shop or dealer is going to keep those in stock or have as inventory. They'll always be a special order tire.

You were able to order them? What source did you use?

I had to order them from the dealer. Again 60-90 day wait. There was no alternative. I found someone on Ebay, but asked for a firm commitment on availability, they could not provide it, so that is a flag for me...

Hmmm…I thought the dealer’s were obligated to reserve those tires for 812 Comp? I asked mine because I wanted to fit them on my inbound 12C.

This is what I thought as well, but they do not keep them in stock, which is crazy to me as if you get a damage, your car can be out of commission for a few months. I guess most of us do not drive them that much to face this issue, but sometimes the car and coffee drives can be rough, but to Ferrari, these tires are considered a special order.

Yes, best bet whenever you're lucky enough to have this special of a car with such unique tires, is to just order and buy a full set as soon as you get the car. Keep them in the garage and when and if you get a flat, you'll have your replacement. It's just a case of staying ahead of the possibility (like insurance)

You cannot do that, the tires could dry out and get damaged, there are very specific requirements to keep the tires fresh, such as temperature, humidity, and storage positions controls. I already thought about it, kinda stuck..

you can definitely do that my friend... I've done it for years. Tire shops themselves do it... Just look at the manufacture dates on any tires on any of your cars... chances are, they are years before you put them on. Yes temperatures matter ' a little' but they'd have to be extreme temps and humidity to ever matter. Just store them in proper positions and you can always move them, flip them or rotate them as you feel. I'm not talking about buying them and storing them for years and years... I'm just saying for when you get a flat which for me is always at least once a year.... and at worst case, use them all when you replace the tires which for me, is usually only 2-3 years max. The tires are perfectly fine after storing for 2-3 years.

Good to know. I’m just repeating what the dealer mentioned to me. Remember these tires are an option they stock the Michelins.

Ya I hear you... just think of it logically-- if they're sitting in some shop right now to be special ordered, then they could be sitting in 'your shop'.... it's not like they special order this tire and then Pirelli just makes one for you specifically.... They're already made and sitting somewhere so might as well be in your garage lol. And let's say they do actually make it once ordered, You can still order, buy and store them properly yourself.

But anyway, it definitely sucks if you got a flat when you have such special and rare tires.... same when you curb a carbon wheel... yikes

Yes, anything can happen. Was driving along at 40 mph a couple days ago in my Performante and "Boom." It felt like I ran over a concrete block. Looks like I ran over a huge 4.5 inch bolt and the front tire flipped it up and the rear went right over it standing up and the "Boom" was the wheel being breached by the bolt. Unbelievable - it looks like a bullet hole. One in a million for sure. Having a heck of a time sourcing a rim right now.

My advice is to be prepared, and I am as far as a normal flat goes. But I wasn't for this and I'm going to make sure I have an EZ Spare - spare wheel at home for all my cars now because of this.
