I have a 488 Spider that I love to drive but has had an itching for a V12. The dealership that I work with was either good enough or desperate to let me drive both the F12 and the 812. I see now what drivers say about the two. The F12 looks phenomenal and has plenty of oomph and passion to make one happy. I see the slowly outdating technology also, though it’s not too bothersome. 812, on the other hand, moves it to a higher level and I loved the feel and power of the V12. There is nothing like it. The heaviness is a bit of an issue and all the power in the world won’t fix that. To best describe my drive, I have limited Ferrari knowledge and seat time to compare with. To really drive it hard in real world, however, the car felt like being I was in a roller coaster. The accelerations are violent and the breaking dependable and strong. The power is intoxicating. I wondered how the current owners would exercise restraint every time an opportunity comes to move forward. Daily driving an 812? It could be a daily traffic ticket.

Restraint? I got the car so I can feel liberated lol.

It sure is tough when you're in an 812 :D

You get accustomed to it. :)

A lot depends on your area. If you live in more urban/suburban environment it's harder to turn it loose because there just aren't that many opportunities. If you have lots of wide open roads like a rural area, well that would make for the itchy trigger finger.

Sounds more ominous than I envisioned.
I suppose the trick is to drive it regularly.
