812 GTS airbag cover color?

    I was always under the impression that the color/leather of the air bag cover on the steering wheel is matched with those of the steering wheel rim. However today I just noticed that my airbag cover is black which did not match with the sterling Blu steering I had optioned. A mistake in the assembly process or that’s how they roll?

    Definitely a mistake. I have full Blu sterling in my GTS including the steering wheel and it is blu leather.

    I’ve heard that on the new interiors (roma, sf90, 296) it’s not possible to have the airbag cover in anything other than black. But I was under the impression that it was possible on the 812.

    In the configurator it definitely shows up as Blu Sterling, will investigate further with my dealer come Monday.

    You're correct on the newer models, the airbag cover stays black but on the GTS they made it match the steering wheel maybe because its a GT car?
