I have been told the SUV/FUV has been delayed again. Not sure if that means the production or the debut has been delayed but the news is definitely from one who knows. That could play a role in the GTS builds.

 

Not sure on time scales, but I was asked today, if I wanted to put a small deposit down on the Purosangue to secure an allocation slot, so I would guess the launch is not too far away.

I think there are 2 launch dates this year, one for the SUV and then the 296 Spider.

My ordered GTS in the app has some options shown incorrectly in the configuration display, naming my wrong leather color for interior. I checked with my dealer and he says not to worry, but should I?

 

Can you ask to see the order that was placed? My sale associate forwarded the exact order for me to review and sign off on.

 

Not the first time that this would happen if you car shows up with the wrong options. An ex-member here had his LaFerrari delivered with the wrong shade of red. Rossa Corsa vs a triple layer red that the had ordered (can't remember the name).

 

Some people are saying that their F8 orders have been canceled? Has anyone had this experience with their GTS? I have a second one that is 10R but nothing is showing up in the app.

 

The app is NOT what the factory /Modis reflects. Ask your dealer for the printout from Modis. That is what the factory uses to build your car from and NOT what is in the app.

Take a read of the written spec in the tab, its all a shambles TBH

 

F8 different than GTS.

I suspect we all get our cars
BUT clearly we are in a different world and production may not proceed as before and wait times will be going up as will
PRICES.

 

I have found out yesterday, that my car will be built the 2nd quarter of this year, which I am so pleased about.

 

when was your order placed at the dealer?

 

I ordered it after the launch in Italy Oct. 2019.

Speced the car Jan. 2020 then Covid hit the UK, I would have been at high risk if I would have caught it having had pneumonia/ legionella the year before, and we also had Brexit at the same time!

Cancelled the order a few months later, as I did not know at the time how Covid was going to affect us, and the car would have been going into production soon.

Things had settled down a little last year, so spoke to my dealer a few times and reinstated the order in June for delivery early 2022. I have a good relationship with my dealer and have been in contact the whole time with him.

 

In the system ! I was told by dealer my October deposit and email to FNA was accepted . Very exciting . Somewhat surprised to see that painted shields was not on option list . Guess I have a year to work that out !
