Beautiful spec…congrats! I was out today with the top down in a (finally) sunny day in nor cal with 70 degree temps. Simply sublime. U will love it

 

Thank you. We are looking forward to driving this beautiful car in the fantastic weather we generally have here in Southern California. Also, we will be driving this 812GTS to “Monterey Car Week” this August which we have attended almost every year since 1985.

Painted shields? I bet your car is complete if you are getting this pic, the site is way behind.

 

Yes I ordered the fancy shields.

 

For the 'primer' paint picture some people thought they were just receiving a generic picture of a car. Some shared their primer picture and it was identical in every detail. Not sure how accurate the first picture is but it may in fact be 'your' car.
The second 'paint' picture, low side view is when the fun really starts with your paint color!

 

Must have for this car.

 

How long does it usually take between primer and painted frame pics?

 

Back in 2020 when mine was built, it was only 6 days. With that said, my Roma was delivered 6 months ago and I still don’t have the final production photo. It has definitely gotten worse…

 

I got my VIN in the app today. Any idea how much longer til completion?

 

I was ~2 months

 

Just hit 60 status … I think it means production is complete.

How long do you guys think from now?

I’ve had both. Not sure the rhyme or reason.

 

It’s interesting that they have the painted shields already on.

I wonder in what part of the process Giuseppe steps in with his ladder, overalls, and brushes to paint the shields?

 

Perhaps things have improved…but my Portofino M and SF90 were shipped five months apart and arrived at the dealer on the same truck.

 

Btw, I know the car looks black in the pic, but it is actually trash bag grey.

Ok, I am in a desperate state ... so desperate that if someone can get to the night watchman and get him/her to take an updated pic of my car for me, I will give them my 1985 Benetton rugby shirt in return, AAAAND I'll throw in a Best Company sweatshirt into the deal if he can get a pic of the interior. Literally Italodisco gold ... might as well be at a Gazebo concert.
