I was wondering if anyone who has taken delivery of their 812 GTS have been able to put golf clubs in the trunk? Pictures would be great.
    Thanks in advance.

So is fitting a golf bag or not a deal breaker?

Thanks- it would certainly help to know ahead of time. Can barely squeeze the clubs behind the seats in my 488 but not comfortable for longer trips. Hoping the GTS will be able to fit them.

It is. It’s there now...I can’t pick it up until next weekend. Apparently it’s on the floor. He is on vacation too and back end if next week. Dying to see it. He said it really does look fantastic!

Very difficult - woods would need to go in the cabin, and probably irons too. Putter probably ok :)

Wow. Unless you're 170 or less, that must look absolutely ridiculous when you're driving along. I'm 181 and having anything behind the 488 Spider seats thicker than 7-8 cm is damn near impossible. You must almost be hiting your head on the windshield frame.

It is less than optimal as I am about 180 cm. Golf bag fits mostly behind the cutout on the drivers side pushing the seat about 3cm forward. The passenger side however is about 7 cm forward making it very difficult to have passengers. I am hoping the clubs will fit inside the trunk in the GTS as one of the options was a golf bag.

very good question, i have a Lusso T for golf and 812, but i really want to take 812 with the golf bag, do they sell particular golf bag for 812 coupe that makes it fit in the trunk?

Actually, just checked. Irons fit easily, and woods even fit - just. Didn’t try a bag but with a small bag you should be fine. There is a little recess on the left side that allows this - obviously a consideration for the designers. You couldn’t get more than two very light bags in though. And little room for an anything else.

Here’s a poor photo that shows what I mean.

Thanks again for the photo and checking. Love the photos of your car in the other thread. Hope you are enjoying it to the fullest. How is the interior space and comfort?

I was there and saw it yesterday. Gorgeous car, very nice color scheme.

I grigio color they came up with is just perfect. It was the first time I had see it in person. The couio interior is highly complementary.

Well, just because there's an option for a golf bag, that's not the same as it will fit. That's just Ferrari trying to charge people silly money for a golf bag. They offer a golf bag with the Pista Spider too. That kinda sums it up.

I doubt very much that the space behind the seats in the 812 GTS will be less than in the 488, but I really want to know something. I'm not a golfer, so I don't really understand any of the golfing social scene. But what exactly is the idea behind people fitting golf clubs in a car where they really don't fit? Is it a point of bringing the exotic car to the golf club for "personal reasons" at any cost or? If I played golf regularly, I'd use the Lusso that would handle the clubs, which would make it all seem a bit more "stylish" and composed if you like. I understand the urge to drive the car, but it all just seems a bit odd.

    Just some thoughts:)

For me it’s about being able to drive any of my cars to the course. Plus I’m the ultimate trunk Tetris person, I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of fitting as much in a vehicle as possible. For me it’s the challenge of how many golf bags can I fit.

It’s also a nice bonus to pull up in the 812 at the course. Let the other members see your new car. Flex on the club president in his Porsche Cayenne.

Yes, loving it. Space is fine, similar to coupe, other than boot space.

Dredging up an old thread, but I will be in the market for an 812 GTS soon.

The clubs fit in the 458 spider just fine but they sit on the passenger floorboard and seat. I have to go solo.

The vid showed the superfast and fitment, but the top stowage of the GTS looks to be taking much of that room.

What was the verdict? No clubs in the trunk?

One set with driver out of small carry bag works just fine. Also if no clubs you can fit a motorized Stewart push cart in the trunk. Went to the Roma spider “reveal” last week and 812GTS has more trunk space to me than Roma spider.

These are the dimensions of the GTS trunk - I had it 3d scanned so I could get custom luggage that fits well.

Yes, thank you very much for sharing this with us.

Can you tell us more about how you got your custom made luggage set made ?

Personally, I had a custom 2 pieces set done by Maieli in Italy and the result is outstanding.

Again, it is a shame that Ferrari doesn’t offer custom made luggage sets anymore for every model produced as they did in the past in partnership with Schedoni.

The “one fits all” luggage line they now offer is just useless as it cannot perfectly suit all models and the factory does not even provide any guidance on what would be the best combination for each model.
