to which I said screw that, I’m taking my chances. Refuse to live with a 355 that sounds better than a 2022 V12. Period.

 

My first time going for a system like this in any of my cars. I just had to do it!

Btw one of the great things about it is how you can close the valves and simply drive in quiet mode around town when you want to. I LOVED that!

 

It’s a variable interpretation of that at dealers around the world. Of course that’s always the party line but there are reasonable dealers out there who can handle these basic situations.

 

Dude don’t worry about it. Nothing is going to harm your car by doing what you did. If you were messing around with the engine valves or other things maybe you are risking things. Countless people have done the exhaust mods we are talking about and it is utterly basic in operation.

 

UK & Australia are tough on this stuff.

USA not so.

 

My dealer in the US has no problem with x pipe or back box, but the cats are a gray area for them. Regardless, it’s an incredible sound!!

You know what.

They did them on my TDF however the car was already out of warranty when I added it.

You can ask.

 

Yes I won't name names, but there are 3 dealers in the UK in particular that are a bit funny - although at one time or another all 3 have either fitted aftermarket parts as part of a deal to sell a car, or carried out warranty work on modified cars.

The rest of the dealers are all really cool,

For those 3 it's whichever way the wind blows haha

 

Of course they did to get the deal done!!! LOL!
