I have a deposit from summer 2021 down on a 812 gts so far no word on a allocation or build date. My dealer say I have a “chance” since deposit was in before book closing… now I am told they are waiting for allocations or build slots to be released??? Any ideas when this will occur? While not holding my breath it feels like I am being strung along when I am ok with a yes or no just not being gamed. Any ideas?

Typically it is about a one year wait for an allocation (which is the build spot) from the time you gave the dealer a deposit. All you have is a spot on the dealer’s waiting list. The allocations are given to the dealer, and they don’t always know when or how many they will receive each month. Once the allocation is given to the dealer they pick the next person on their internal list and assign the build spot to that person.

Thank you since I was told “they closed the books” I was more concerned but your response is reassuring it’s my first new Ferrari I have had 2- 458 spiders and still have one I ideally wanted to keep open air option pick up v12 but either way I am [emoji1303]

I've been told by two different knowledgeable people that not every order for the F8S, 812GTS is likely to be filled in time before they close production on those. Guess we shall see, going to be a while before we know on this. Fingers crossed for everyone.

In the end people will get their cars. People drop off the list, cancel etc. I know people who could order prior models but not people who did not get them once on the WL.

    Be patient. Let others drop.
