I'd like to take part in a SP Monza rally/meeting one day to see them all together with the different liveries and configurations. This blue / yellow / red history livery is spectacular .. it should be "La Fangio" livrea #18 (70th Ferrari) https://st.automobilemag.com/uploads/sites/11/2015/10/1956-Ferrari-290-MM-front-three-quarters-2.jpg
Just thinking would be great to have a kind of kit to transform an SP1 to SP2....best of both world... ;-) Tam
No idea...I think it depends on the country...my dealer here tells me it was gone immediately as he had way too many requests...in other countries it may not be the case. The fact that they did not show it in Geneva is evidence that they dont need to promote the car any more as it is sold out Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Camilleri said they built a new assembly line for the Icona models, but it's certainly possible that the people who worked on LaF are now working there, or maybe just some of them. "In terms of the Monza SP1 and SP2, it's the fourth quarter essentially because of, as you knew and we said at the Capital Markets Day, we're building a new production line for that pillar and Monza SP1 and SP2 are the first ones. I would say that we're focused on Q4 in terms of production and sales, because it's actually a very complex car to manufacture in terms of craftsmanship. So there's a lot of new things and a lot of handmade carbon fiber pieces. They will require a lot of training to get them precise to meet our specifications. So that's really the main reason why we see that sales will commence in Q4 rather than earlier"
First cars will be delivered in Q4 2019, as specified in another segment: "However, I wish to stress that we project positive mix for the full year as the new launches hit the market particularly in the fourth quarter when the first shipments of the highly profitable Monza SP1 and SP2 reach our customers." And when talking about volumes: "GT Sports and special series are expected to account for approximately one-third of total volumes each. The Ferrari Monza will only marginally contribute starting from Q4" Source: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4237157-ferrari-n-v-race-ceo-louis-camilleri-q4-2018-results-earnings-call-transcript?part=single
Not sure about the silver stripe livery across the front fenders but the black on red is superb! Thanks
Looks like the easiest wheels to clean ever but on a Ferrari most likely to not need the convenience. The black looks the best color for this car IMO. Stripe is nice also.

It is perfect. The more I see it, the more I believe this is the most beautiful modern Ferrari...The company will have a very difficult task matching this with the second Icona... Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat

last year in paris Enrico galleria told Bloomberg that monza is their first chapter and they are already working on the next chapter. He also answered to the question if the next icona will be more expensive?- '' ok we still have to decide- but certainly it will be something- following the same path in terms of beauty and design.'' so by 2022 how many new iconas they want to make? Will it follow a 4 years gap or 2 years ? With its higher price tag it falls into the hypercar category so that it can be asumed that thay're not going to introduce a new icona each year? By the way it would be very nice- if they utilize the laferrari chassis for an icona project, a v12 without kers.
Have you noticed that there are both a rear-view mirror and a windbreak glass between the two humps? She would have been too beautiful without any of this!
Very good observation! Rear view mirror was something that first seen in various configuration photos. The windbreak glass seems was never seen again.
