By having quick releases on the batteries, maybe Ferrari is trying to tell the owners something.:D I am convinced it will help battery life tremendously if the main battery is located away from the engine compartment.

Just so you know, batteries do not like being fully charged, when the car will be sitting for a while it is best to have on tender until green light/full charge and then unplug for 5-7 days and plug back in until green and then unplug (usually that occurs in less than 6-12 hours). The battery will be happier (and last years before needing replacement) when given a chance to discharge some. If you look at EVs, they really do not like being fully charged...

i have the antigravity lithium in my 2016 F12. if i leave the car sitting off tender for 30+ days the battery will go into a hibernation phase that keeps plenty of power in reserve to restart the car. it requires manually pushing a button on a remote much like a jumpstart pack.

it has also solved all my hot lazy start issues. battery was expensive with bluetooth module around 1200 usd.

it's been 1 year i havent had any

the battery itself should be wrapped in a heatshield fabric already from the factory

I have just got a Varta (being fitted by Dealer) on 812 next week. No idea how old battery was but had the car a year and all sorts of odd issues started to appear.

Regular break in warnings when starting, blinking radio comes on when ignition on (you turn Radio off), start car and it comes back on again! Stop car - guess what happens :)

Air Con usual annoying alternator buzzing so fingers crossed it fixes for a while.

Always on MXS 10 so lots of Current to keep it brimmed and float. I don’t plug it in until a day after driving as heat soak is enormous.

Will update when I get her back.

I think most of what you posted for the radio is normal except the blinking part. Mine always comes on with ignition and I think after you mute and start it comes on again but not sure. Ferrari software is charming.

Blinking was me politely managing expletives haha!

Glad it’s ‘normal’ my F12 did the same. Wonder what happens after Varta fitted….

Hi - considering this for my F12 that eats batteries and has hot start issues when the batteries degrade, even after having the wiring harness sorted. One question - did you go with the 60AH or 80AH option? I am struggling to source an 80AH in the UK, but being told that the 60AH is more than sufficient as Lithium discharges completely different to AGM so equivalent AH is double or more (so 60AH Lithium is near to 120-140AH AGM).
