I’m sure it won’t be boring, but I’m surprised how many people want their supercar to not look very super.
If the car is accepted kindly by the critics then the 812's will flip fast even with a mild hybrid. Probably more so because most buyers want the latest and most powerful. This would include an excellent stereo and gadgets o'plenty. The 812sf is far from the last V12 NA since there are seven models already introduced after it and more to come. What matters is how you feel about your car.
The middle photo says it all: the F167 will be Ferrari’s first car with a hood ornament-a kangaroo! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
For what ? if there aren't holes everywhere, protruding edges and manga looks, isn't it a supercar??? Read the story of those who shaped the brand's style and of the cars that will go down in history. In art, "what is simple is beautiful".
Could not agree with you more. the rear deck of the Comp is horrendous. Should have a proper rear window and decklid.
Looks like the style department got rid of the side bodywork upsweep, which I have never found attractive.
I just joined the forum. I have gone back 10 pages of this thread but couldnt really figure out if there is indeed a 812 replacement and if so what is it? Is it the same V12 with bigger displacement and higher redline or hybrid car like 296?
In art?!? Art is the most subjective thing in the world. There’s no overarching, definitive mantra. You like simple, I like different. I like vents with a purpose, bulges, and an overall beautifully shape. I like my Ferraris looking like they are purposeful, while following those trends.
Yes, there will be an 812 replacement, reveal date predictions starting Sept this year, to as late as July 2024, should occur between those two dates From what we know, same 6.5L V12 from the Competizone (~920 or more HP, 9500rev limit) No hybrid, might have a 48v "mild hybrid" but not plugin
Hi guys, One more picture for the Fchat. me and @isot saw the car last Friday in maranello. Incredible good looking proportion, I can't reveal to much but let's say.. the engine is going to be what everyone wants! Greetings, Derek Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you look at the roof of the prototype, you will notice that there is a special roof solution hidden under the winter coat (marked in red by me in the picture below). This roof division with a possible longitudinal strut could extend into the rear window. Some time ago I found a picture of the prototype areal in Maranello (round pic), where you can see exactly such a vehicle with its body shell. The drone shot shows this special roof solution... (but of course I could be wrong). What is “relatively certain“ is that the car will have a similarly wide C-pillar as the F12 TDF. We already talked about this in the thread. And the rear is short and muscular in comparison to the 812 SF.
Does this mean the 812sf prices will tank like F12 prices did when the new V12 is announced? I want to buy an 812 and I want to not get hit with massive depreciation so quickly upfront.
Anybody got pictures from the other side to confirm there is a fuel door there? If so, I dont see what the left one could be but a charging port.
From earlier picture in this thread, looks like this is a 'flap' on passenger side, so, flap on both sides it seems... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can confirm that the car has one pocket for each side, but this it means everything and nothing. Maybe they've put an opening on each side to disguise.. Usually the fuel cap is on the right side.. but who know... For example, in the Purosangue camouflage there was a double hole over the engine hood, but the final car has no holes/intake in that position
Hopefully Ferrari has gotten the message, haptics are not what we want...at least some of the industry seems to be acknowledging this... https://slate.com/business/2023/04/cars-buttons-touch-screens-vw-porsche-nissan-hyundai.html
Let's see if that stupid ferrari chairman will give up his beloved haptic touchscreens. It seems like he loves 4-wheeled smartphones as a "car" lol
The VW electric cars have it right: they have touch screens AND knobs for the few things like volume and A/C that we really want knobs for.
We bought our last GM vehicle. Their commitment to a crappy screen has ended our relationship. And I love how the government/media want to blame large SUV’s and Trucks. No agenda there… Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
