Here is a broad stroke crude sketch as a conversational starting point. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's similar to the SP3 Daytona's doors, could be. I suspect that tail area is like the 812 Comp's ducktail. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm imagining a beautiful chimera, i) the back of a miura with ii) the front of a 250gto and iii) the headlights of a modernized 365 gtb daytonna...
The sketches are not there to be ugly or nice, they are there to try to figure out how the final thing is gonna look.
That would be really adventurous and an unexpected deviation from the usual fastback design on most sporty cars. It would be a departure—though 296 is similar—and in a world where every manufacturer wants to distinguish themselves this could be a possibility.
I saw an SF90 parked next to a 296. Literally was confused for like 30 sec, even though in a photo I can spot it instantly. In person it looked like design language was merging. Lets see what they do for the v12 but hope its 3 dimensionally and physically unique, especially if the charger cord is hanging on the side with the towel
I doubt it. It doesnt match at all with the zips in the rear part of the camouflage. I would say the rear treatment would be similar to what we saw on the F12/812, with a long hatch including the rear window.
All my contacts always told me “she will be a big Roma” for months and months, so I don’t think they took inspiration from the GTO ‘64
Check out this talented guy (his name: Bruno Arena/yes, i know… Cross Daytona and not a berlinetta): https://www.autoevolution.com/news/ferrari-cross-daytona-and-porsche-911-gt2-dakar-seek-to-travel-unbeaten-cgi-paths-212946.html For an active wing solution I´ve modified the back of his rendering a bit (referring to the post by ingegnere (#4242) and isot (#4243). This wing could be perfectly integrated into the hatchback and extends only when needed. In the last picture, i´ve experimented with a bigger nolder and seperated lights (reffering to crinoids post #4251). In my opinion, the overall look of the car could be a bit futuristic (perhaps terrible for some persons in the thread) and flanked by broad, muscular and sinewy hips. The look could be combined with classical lines (especially at the front). It is very difficult to recognize any lines and contours under the camouflage cloak. That's why I'm thankful to everyone who contributes something to the thread. But let´s wait and see... it's hot in Italy, the car will get a “fever“ from this winter coat and and soon they will take it off...
Says the guy that offers no solution or alternative to be useful. Maybe provide a sketch of your own or is it easier just to complain and offer no value? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Quick one, and not sure if mentioned already, are we expecting a GTS model for the replacement as well?
Hope so! I don’t really want a coupe because we have an 812 TM coupe already. We have a GTS too but I would be happy to swap that for a 175 GTS and do a TM build, even though an 812 GTS is a more impressive car than a Superfast overall to me. Can’t believe they would leave the dollars from a 175 GTS on the table though. They couldn’t, could they?!
Considering the Success of the 812 GTS, ans that it will be the last pure V12 Ferrari , It can be safe to assume there will be a "Guillotined" version , very probably an hardcore one and maybe, if we all brush our teeth and do our homework, a open top hardcore
I thought the F167 coupe and gts version are to be revealed at the same time. Idk maybe something’s changed.
I would think they will because of the GTS reception. However, based on the shape of the mules, I think they may go soft top like the Roma Spider.
