As much as I loved my GTS and top down motoring I ultimately parted with it as the cabin was much more claustrophobic with less recline and leg room than my SF for my 6’2” frame
I hope they do better with the F167- soft or hard top is fine with me as long as it suits the cars design lines and keeps the cabin space. The GTS always looked at tad awkward with the top down from certain angles.

Do you think the 812 gts will keep is value ? Anyway I think that it will be difficult to find on the road an F167 spider before the end of 2026.. moreover is not easy to know if the spider version of the f167 will be an unassisted v12 N/A.

How will f167 compare to the sf90? Will it be placed higher or lower than the current flagship?

lower, that change occurred at the SF90 reveal in May 2019, the V12 is no longer the flagship, never again (it seems) and next hyper car is not V12

remember, F167 project was almost axed

heritage class is all the V12 will ever be again for Ferrari - or so it seems

Seems like the V12 will be the Old Timers Edition , hybrids for the Millennial and EVs for the Gen X[emoji12]

Hey Leave the Gen X alone that was the last great generation. Personal I can't stand EV Been in more than a few and they are lifeless.
Hybrids are interesting BUT way to heavy and the tech needs allot more work. Give me a real V6, V8 or V12 any day. The feel, the sound the vibration priceless and full of Heart and Soul

I tend to agree with you. One thing I miss with Ferrari now is that the cars are bigger and heavier and a lot of the smart tech is really only there to manage the extra bulk and weight. I’m voting with my feet and moving on - my next V12 will be the T33 Spider, lightweight, V12 with enough power, manual, analogue controls and compact. I’m also going completely silly with another car but that’s another story!

Really hope they have a brand new NA V12 in the pipeline because Ferrari without V12 is no more Ferrari..

I am pretty sure they dont. It doesnt make financial sense to develop a new one for what will essentially be more and more of a niche market. And it's not like the current V12 is is anemic.

We are talking about the essence of this brand.
This has always been a niche market.
An EV Ferrari won’t never be a true Ferrari and buyers will realize this sooner than later I hope.

They Need to keep the Gran Tourer as an N/A V12 for as long as they can legally get one on the roads.

I think the question is not simply about V12s and EVs, It's also where you can actually drive them and enjoy their performance. Used to own Ferraris in Australia but the restrictions and enforcement pretty much make that a waste of time. I spend most of my time in Bangkok and that's a pretty pointless place to keep a supercar - even driving in the countryside is a little unsafe given you never know what's going to suddenly come on the road! At the moment I keep cars in New Zealand as the roads are great to drive and relatively empty particularly on the South Island. I look at my 812s and they're great cars but quite large and with a bit of weight - if the V12 future is on the same track then from my perspective it doesn't look bright - particularly if it looks like a Roma (sorry, just don't like the Roma especially the iPad screen!). So the direction of my next cars is entirely different.

When it comes to EVs, it will be interesting to see how Ferrari maintains its relevance in the market place. There are a lot of cars in the space and I'm not sure how they can distinguish the emotion of driving an EV Ferrari from other competitors.

yeah they will keep some V12 alive through the Icona series... But you dont need a brand new V12 for that. People are not buying these cars for the performance, they buy it for the soul, the noise, the exclusivity. All of that is already provided by the current V12. So they will keep using that for as long as they can legally do so, with a tweak to it every now and then just to justify that it is not an old unit.

But will they even do that? Weren't there rumors of either SP4 or 5 not being V12?

I think at least one will be V8, and F40 inspired. But I doubt they would ditch the V12 altogether if they still have the capability to manufacture and sell low numbers of it for an even more outrageous price.

In this crazy world I fully expect Ferrari to sell EVs and call them V12, V8 and Icona versions because they can and people will buy them. Humans have turned language on its head calling things whatever they like and reinventing the meaning of words at whim and others accept it at face value .
Expect the same with the new electrifying Ferraris!
In the end it’s all about what money they can make NOW, who cares about the future since in won’t pertain to them. They will continue to live in seaside villas(wherever the seas may be at that time, global warming notwithstanding)and alpine retreats protected while eco weanies literally spin their wheels happy to plunge us into the new Stone Age eating insects, and working from darkened homes we don’t own with mandatory staycation requirements to minimize energy requirements.
It’s a dystopian future not unlike Soylent Green…
Hopefully with the F167 this nightmare will recede into into the background… at least for a year or two

This is why I ended up not ordering the GTS and just keeping my coupe. I bought the extended warranty last year and am covered through 2025. I just ordered a Purosangue which I am not getting until 2027.

For the "everything we will never see" series, here's another joke, another game, to while away the time: the one I'd like! A Monza with a roof. It must be said that Roma is already a Monza with a roof... but it only lacks that fantastic V12
