They are not fictitious in my area as I have seen. They are quickest to flip and have been doing it a long time. Much of the VS owners have had a history of flipping. Without it you'd have garages full of massively depreciating cars you don't drive. Dealer loves to see them because of the steady stream of known customers and the ability to make a ton more on the resale(s) of the same car.
Would love to see these in the other color options, especially the so called "Hyundai Wheel" as I think in a darker color it may fare better.
just like the Puro I think this car is extremely colour / spec dependent and looks vulgar in many and great in some

So if they are flippers they do care about money then?! The previous point was about people persuading themselves they should buy a car they don’t like because they have so much money they don’t care. I personally don’t know any people who simply don’t care about money and are prepared to blow big six-figure sums on a car they don’t like and not care. If they think they can own it and sell it for no loss, that’s a different thing altogether. As with any new car, there are those who love, those who hate and those in the MDEL ( ). Sorry, couldn’t resist and nothing meant by it. Point is, though, sometimes if you are trying to persuade yourself, just give up. No need. The very expensive 12C is not a car that someone who thinks that way should buy. But for others who are happier with the design - some seem extremely happy with it - then it will always be a good car to own and whatever the depreciation, there will still be value in the ownership experience. There has been far too much of the flipping and nonsense in the recent past and thankfully that is now much riskier. Hopefully we’ll see a return to people who want the cars owning them and manufacturers structuring their businesses to drive and meet that volume appropriately. For those who don’t like Ferrari’s current direction, current designs, or even just a specific car they make, there really are some fabulous alternatives these days.
Although the left wheel is often criticized, I think the details are quite cool, as seen below. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree, with any new car there are always those who love it ,those who hate it and also those in between. However, Lukeylikey has invented a new rare species, the MDEL's, who are impassive, totally incapable of loving or hating a new car. It turns out that in the world of Ferraris in addition to these species, there is still at least one more that was created a long time ago by Frank Sinatra. It includes all those who own a Ferrari due to the fact that they are not somebody but want to become somebody. FS said it categorically ; “You buy a Ferrari when you want to be somebody. You buy a Lamborghini when you are somebody”
I think there’s a huge difference between spending money and wasting money. The wealthy/successful self made people I know don’t mind spending money, but diligently try to avoid wasting money. I grew up in a coupon clipping household and so frugality was almost bred into me. Personally, I love spending money, but abhor wasting it. Of course, some people have quasi-unlimited resources and their “spending” money appears to others as “wasting” money. It’s all relative…beauty, intelligence, health, wealth, car collections…etc.
Totally agree. I won’t spend the money to buy a Starbuck’s coffee, but if I turn my deposit into an order, I will get painted shields on my 12C spider.

The optional wheels are too much and the standard too little. But I think that with a creative use of paint they could be fixed.
Great pics thanks for the post - California Azzurro Blue ?? - Does anyone know where this 12C is located ? seems like a factory demonstrator making the dealer rounds ?
I am jealous and cannot wait to see it in the metal. Spider deposit is in with the caveat of seeing the car in person before committing to an order. If it not to my liking, I will keep the F12 with its friend the F8 Spider.
