People who like it are bound to think it will age well. People who don't like it probably won't. @MDEL is wrong that no one other than Manzoni appreciates the car. But Mario's opinion of the car is neither wrong nor right. And we can only guess about how the car will be judged with the passage of time. I tend to agree with Mario - I don't think the SciFi elements will age gracefully. But, time will tell.
Whether aesthetically the 12 C will age very well or not is something that only time will tell. However, what is guaranteed to age very well is the naturally aspirated V12 under the hood.

These sci fi designs are so awful and not pure Ferrari. So disappointed and also with the joke of a sound the F80 has not to mention the same design components as Daytona yet again. Unoriginal and wouldn’t have thought to copy and paste that style particularly for Ferrari and more so for a hypercar.
Not in the slightest. Seeing pics of this car in normal settings. It looks absolutely fantastic. Can’t wait to see one in person.
Exactly. The launch colors, like Giallo Montecarlo, with Hyundai wheels, give an undesirable futuristic effect. The more "normal" configurations, with the standard silver wheels, make the 12 Cilindri very classic. The overall design is very good. I just think it should have round taillights. The car is quite curvy, and round taillights would match it very well. Round taillights are a Ferrari signature, almost all of them throughout history have had them. I hope that Manzoni forced habit of putting LED stripes instead of beautiful round taillights ends soon. Suggestion for Novitec: perhaps a kit of round taillights, two smaller ones or one large for each side. I'm not a fan of visual modifications, but this one would be welcome.
Even the new, modern Lancia Ypsilon (Stellantis product) has round taillights, so why can't Ferrari have its traditional lights back? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not hypothesizing about the beauty of the 12Cilindri either. It is indeed very beautiful, with organic lines and proportions. I just said that, IMO, it would be even more beautiful with Ferrari usual round taillights.

Well, everyone has their opinion but it’s unfortunately very unattractive to my eye in the pictures. I hope the “in the flesh” difference is significantly positive. Also, looking for Novitec to fix anything aesthetic or engineering wise is like asking a coroner to do open heart surgery.
Ferrari was always a forward looking company. They cannot afford to be stuck in the past. What is the point of doing the same thing over and over and over again? Where is the progress in that?
I don't think round taillights are something exclusively from the past, but rather "timeless". For example, when the 458 was launched. It was extremely modern, but the round lights were there. These straight LED strips are used by all brands: Byd, Porsche Taycan, Q8 etron, etc. I do not consider it in any way "forward thinking" to use an element that all brands are using. I think the round lights are very "Ferrari", just as modern, and are much more exclusive and beautiful than the "Jedi sabers". Just my opinion.
You know of course that in the '50s all sports cars had round tail light, right? It was just what they did back then, not a Ferrari thing. Time to move on. If Ferrari thought like that their cars would still have carburettors and drum brakes...
Round tail lights were done in the 50s and 60s because bulbs were shaped the same way. Today with LEDs anything is possible. Ferrari could have done round using LEDs and add some depth to keep some semblance to Ferrari history. The pexiglass front panel on the original Daytona was a one off- not a marque defining moment.
Interestingly, AMuS claims in the print version that 12 Cilindri has 54 kg lighter gearbox than in 812. There is no way that can be true. I wonder from where they pulled off that figure?
