How hard is it to get an allocation for a 812 super fast in the US right now?

I think that depends on how soon you would like to have it. I secured mine last fall. I was “early” and yet mine will not arrive until likely next summer.

The best read I can get from my dealer is they're delivering about one a month.

I spoke to a dealer yesterday about ordering one. They said they have three in front of me and most likely mine would be delivered as a 2020 model about this time next year. Is that wishful thinking?

I like to the think of those as previously titled instead of used....

New ones, of course, at least in North America are only built in response to a customer order, so, no 'new' dealer inventory exists. I do not think there are any dealer demonstrator cars either.

So, previously titled or purchased at least.

I think actual allocations are not happening much right now, but dealers are taking "orders" in anticipation of eventually having an allocation.

Given that, I've heard if you 'get in line now' could be a late 2020 MY or 2021 (with 2022 apparently being last MY, but, there is a very important 5-year plan being unveiled Monday Sept 17/18...so, stay turned as I have heard that the 812SF powertrain may change before production runs its course...i.e. hybrid with smaller displacement block...so, very very curious what will be announced in less than a month)

A change in power train? Has Ferrari ever done something like this before mid cycle? I’d be rather peeved if I ordered one and it came with a hybrid power train. I know it’s the way of the future but surely Ferrari can give a few more years of N/A glory.

This is purely rumor. If they did something like this they would simply offer the TTV8 as an option and call it an 812 T or something.

I would be shocked if they had no more V12 at all. I could see them going to a smaller V12 + hybrid.
