812 SF hood misaligned?

    Question for 812 owners. I've looked at three 812's in the past couple of weeks. All three had hoods where the front corners did not match up with the straight edge of the front panel (see pic below with blue circle). This is not one of the cars, it just shows the area I am referring to. One car had the hood overhanging on both sides, which seemed really strange. Although it was unequal overhang on left vs right.

    Is this a common thing with 812 SFs? Thanks

    I noticed this on multiple 812s as well, so sounds like it may be the case.

    Its on every single 812 I have seen. It has to be due to the mold they based the bumper on.

    interestingly every c7 corvette I have seen also had this problem. Much more prominent in ZR1s.

    Would not be a Ferrari if it did not have some issue. Lol. Main thing is they are amazing to drive

    In all honesty the fitment of the hood on my 2022 gts is not that good.

    Thanks everyone, sounds like this is a known manufacturing issue. Agree, regardless they are an amazing car. And yes other cars have similar issues. I'm just learning, so thanks for the feedback.

    maybe qc is within specs and they let the cars go…to customers.
