Considering non gpf 812 SF, car has Tubi valved exhaust and Tubi x pipe already. Overall spec is perfect, white with nero and red details, highly optioned. Originally planning to put valved Capristo or Novitec exhaust and x pipe on 812 for more of that high pitched F1 scream. Will not go so far as straight piped however.

Don't necessarily care for more rumble or throatiness at lower RPMs, not really looking for more midrange farty sound or buzz to the exhaust, instead want it to sound like the more clean wailing scream of old F1 cars at revs, high pitched like Capristo and Novitec are known for, but am hearing now it's maybe not Tubi's reputation.

Anyone has personal experience with Tubi in this specific aspect compared to the others? I don't have the opportunity to compare and videos of different ones in different situations don't tell the details. I know they are all 'more'.

Is it mistake to get car with Tubi setup for that high pitched wailing F1 sound? Is Tubi setup going to give something other than what I want?

It's the X pipe that really accentuates that sound. Though, I have found my Capristo one has made it a bit more quiet. Smoother and more pure, but less of it. Benefit is you get the higher pitch sooner, maybe 3krpm vs 5000.

Good information. Details not often talked about. Smoother purer sooner high pitch is nice.

Anybody knows if Tubi setup really does the same or has different sound profile?

These parts are replaceable if you don’t like it. The Tubi exhaust, if I remember correctly, wasn’t too expensive. Don’t overpay for the car because if it, and then see if it does it for you. I honestly think you’ll need, as well as myself, sport cats to really open it up. I haven’t swapped the muffler yet, and will only fit a Novitec one. It’s the 812 sound that I like the best even though the price is more than it needs to be. When my GTS comes, I’m planning to add the Novitec x pipe, which looks to have a more similar design to the Tubi than the Capristo. The only Tubi exhaust that I definitely no felt would not consider is for the Pista. Sounds like a diesel truck.

Skipping the Tubi to go the safe route with Novitec setup.

I would stick with the Tubi for a while to see how you like it. I put the Tubi on my 488 Spider and I think it was just right. It's not too loud but it is louder than the stock exhaust. They called it straight pipe but it's just that from the cats back. Tubi makes a good product IMO.
