For the third time this week I’ve been told Ferrari is releasing the 812SFS at pebble this year. If they do release it would you buy it?

Instead of told let’s say “the rumor mill is saying it’s happening”

They are showing the pista aperta at pebble. No 812 variant changes at pebble...... but I’ve also heard the 812 tdf/monza/... variant will be topless

Pista Aperta releases at Pebble Beach. There will also be a 812 collector piece limited to 200, called 812 Monza (Not offical). The 812 tdf sucessor will release at 2021. For the Monza customers are choosen by the factory, also this car will not have a windsheild.. Release date unknown, but its this year. Lets wait and see~

Wouldn't make sense as this patent says "targa" rather than Spyder apparently.

Targa makes perfect sense for an 812 Aperta IMO - similar to the SuperAmerica

Based on what’s been posted here and from what I have heard this is very unlikely for the LE 812 “Monza”. It sounds like it will be in the style of a modern 250 Testarossa. Minimal or essentially no windscreen. You would need some very healthy A pillars for a targa. It does not seem the LE 812 “Monza” will have this. As was noted, it’s buyers were already chosen by the factory without dealer input. It’s a very very limited treat to the best customers. I actually would guess the targa is for the 488 replacement which may be coming sooner than some think.

I was actually referring to to a 812 Aperta not an 812 Monza - i.e. similar to the SuperAmerica idea - so maybe a LE car with targa using the patent?

I just don’t think they’ll be two open top versions of an 812. I think they’ll be the Monza and that’s it.

Mirrors don't seem right as seem too high relative to normal position?
