Cannot understand the logic of not doing so. Ferrari are producing the most magnificent sounding V12 ever
But they won't give us the most optimum platform to enjoy it in  If we make enough noise maybe someone
    will listen :)

Maybe they'll make an Aperta in 5 years, it will be 75 years since the first Ferrari car. Or they will do without any opportunity. They will say that there will be 75 Apertas, and anyway it will be from 150 (example SA Aperta)... And if not, they are still one-off for millions of dollars :D Anyway, hopefully they will give us the best car body

For sure not mainstream, I think there will be an LE convertible >500 units but maybe not performance variant as too close to Tdf. Amazing to think one could buy the 599 Aperta for around $600,000 for ages in the UK. Looks cheap now,

It can't possibly hurt sales of other Ferraris nor would it negatively affect the brand
Very perplexing as why they don't make one

Starting to not believe too close to F12 TDF for the final F12 series LE/VS open top. The engine is bigger, stronger and newer so can get a good increase (a lot more than the 38 hp of TDF had over F12). With a wacked out 812 aero body, more than just the CF bumper skins of the TDF, next gen electronics, brakes, tires as well as the open top it sounds very doable. Absolutely the most sought after Ferrari LE to come. Not even all TDF owners would get one so the question really is becoming why not. If the new 488 is not called the GTO then it would green light the 812 GTO moniker IMO. Start working the reps now!
