    I have seen it and it is not worth the upgraded cost. I think some of the standard colors are really close to the GTS. Others of course will weigh in.

    I have spent a lot of time over recent years comparing greys. There is absolutely no point looking at the GTS show car pictures and assuming it will look like that in natural daylight. As an example, here is my 812 in Grigio Silverstone which is one of the darkest Ferrari greys. Looking at the front of the car in sunlight you can see how the metallic reflection makes it look much lighter and completely different to the rear which is in the shade.

    Justin as you explained very well greys, specially the darker ones, look completely different in picture than in daylight. In the picture of your 812 Grigio Silverstone the difference in color between the shaded and the sunlight areas is very noticeable making the paint look very dark in the shade and very bright in the sunlight. Where I live we have a very bright sun light and I've observed this phenomenon many times when only a part of my grigio ferro F12 is under the shade of a tree.
    The other day I took a picture of this light grigio 812 ( I don't know the color reference) parked under the trees in a golf club and it called my attention the fact that the color differences between the shaded and the sunlight areas aren't so evident.

    Hi Mario, Good to hear you agree with me and your photo does indeed concur. I think that is Argento Nurburgring in your photo?

    Here is the only real 812GTS photo i have seen outside of the Universo Ferrari so far. From experience, i think the car is parked on the side the of V12 production line where cars are waiting to be finished. It doesnt look like the same Grigio GTS Universo Ferrari car as the wheels are not diamond cut and the inteior looks black. It could be Grigio GTS but also looks close to Ferro to me?

    Hi Justin, too me it looks very close to grigio ferro. I put together Spyro's picture with another with my GF that I took some years ago in similar indoors conditions. I leave to the color specialists the final verdict……..

    Anyone have more info about what type of paint Grigio GTS is.. triple layer etc?

    I too am intrigued by it and will try to view the car again before deciding on colour. It could be that Grigio GTS is a significant up-charge when for all practical purposes it is very similar to a (no cost) silver/grey...?

    My dealer is at the factory again today and has inquired for me about Grigio GTS paint.

    He has been told the colour is halfway between Grigio Ferro and Grigio Silverstone.

    Its not a 3 layer paint so he expectes the paint to cost £7140 in the UK but no confirmation or anything official.

    Such an amazing side profile in these HD shots with the roof down.
    Whilst I find the 911 Targa a horrible design, the GTS simply looks like it was designed to be a targa from scratch!

    Thanks for the great pictures!
    I really like Grigio GTS. The alternative for me would be either Grigio Silverstone or Grigio Caldo Opaco. If it‘s really not a triple layer color then I wonder if there would be another special uptick pricing for it since it is a launch color and somebody wrote recently that this color would need to be externally applied ( can’t remember the companies name z....) which would then delay the delivery of the 812 GTS by six months?! However, this would be a reason for me not to choose this color.

    Grigio GTS looks great... I’m considering putting a full car matte PPF on it.. you get the evil, stealth bomber look of matte paint but don’t have the maintenance issues of actual matte paint.. and it’s removable

    Anyone done their 812 in this? Looks good?

    Really liked the RC car at Universo - While I would not go RC I think 70th Annihilations, Fuoco etc would be really nice.

    I could imagine Rosso Maranello would look very nice on this car as well or Rosso Magma but then when I look at the alread posted different rendered color pictures from yellow to black I always get stuck at the grey version for some reason.
