Has anyone managed to down load songs from their I pod to the hard drive? Its says it is possible on page 102 of the manual. after a lot of button pressing I found the right menu that says download but I could not highlight this to down load the song. Is this normal ? Its a standard system by the way.
Are you able to play the track on the iPod on your system? I found that one of my Android phones wouldn't let me copy to the hard disk but the other would. It may be easier to try from a USB stick rather than the IPod in case there's some compatibility issue. Despite having owned the car 6 months, I am no nearer working out the infotainment system!
Yes can pay all of the ipod music and choose playlists etc I get to this screen and can select everything other than copy to HD Yes its easy to use thats for sure . Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think you may have landed on the same "feature" as I did. I then tried the same with the music on a USB stick and it copied over without issue.
Thanks for your help. I will try that, although it will be time consuming, in the mean time, I have asked the dealer to check as it appears the manual says it should work.
