Are most people expecting it to be a 2021 model and released in 2020? I’m mapping out my journey of buying other cars in order to get a TDF.

Nice if you can ‘map out’ but I wouldn’t hold my breath - I have bought everything except Portofino since 458 Speciale, doing pilota, TM x 2 and as much involvement as I can. Hopefully I’ll get an allocation but this car will be way oversubscribed. Hopefully they produce more than the TDF since what I really want is the car, even if the value growth didn’t accompany it.

Doesn’t sound likely. Monza seems a name more likely to be used on a standard production car - the 875 Monza or something.

So 812 Monza is unoficially confirmed as the hardcore version of the 812 Superfast ?

Any post from Mr. Massini, in my view, regarding all things Ferrari, is one that can be taken to the bank without question. (which is where I'll have to go if I have any remote chance of securing an 812 Monza, even as an 812 SF owner!)

    tdf required 3 v12 minimum.
So, with Lusso and 812, I would say 5 v12s for application.
My map for tdf was, 430, 458 spider, F12, 2XFFs and luckly, I was appointed and got tdf.
My map for 812 vs includes 488 spider, Lusso v12, portofino(all 3 cars delivered) and for the next year, 812 and pista aperta.
After 812 vs, then lets see I can get hyper ferrari with 488 replacement, suv and 812 replacement.

Oh god....it is a lot of money....

One will need a helmet as it won't have a windscreen nor a roof.

Is it about the "big surprise" regarding the V12s you mentioned earlier?

The DOT here in the US all but requires a windscreen. Is this car not coming to the US?

From the things I read it seems to me that the 812 Monza will have a different brief than the F12 TdF though.
As described the 812 Monza will be an ultra exclusive collector's car with limited usability, while the TdF was designed as a track oriented hardcore F12 (even though many owners would not actually use it as intended and keep it as a museum piece).

    If that's true, then that's unfortunate. I won't be interested. :(

    The F12TDF was epic.

Maybe more an F60 America/599 Aperta type, then, and perhaps the more sport-focused 812 to arrive subsequently ...?

Yes, this will not be the only SE/LE from the 812 platform.
