Hey guys, I’m still pretty new to the Ferrari world. Picked up an 812 a few months back, and lately, I’ve finally had the chance to drive it more often. Easily one of the wildest cars money can buy. I usually keep it in manual especially once the oil temps are up and everything’s properly warmed up. My question about the transmission is this: can I safely downshift into 1st gear as I’m coming up to a red light? Might sound like a dumb question, but those downshift crackles are addictive, the car sounds unreal.
