I just rebuilt my suspension. New A arm bushings, drop link bushings, new Koni shocks, steering rack, tie rod ends, Conti Extreme contact tires, Superformance wheels, the works.

When I hit a bump the steering wheel shudders a little and I have noticed tramlining on grooved pavement.

The tramlining may be due to the Contis but what about the shudder?

I used grey rubber bushings on the steering rack thinking they might be better than the original pencil eraser red rubber original ones. The drop link bushings are new but black. I left the Konis at the setting out of the box.

Any guidance from all the experts out there would be appreciated.

    Were the ball joints checked/tight?
    Who rebuild your steering rack?

    For a start...

yes, ball joints new and tight. The steering rack is new not rebuilt from car steering experts. Steering is tight but just shudders a bit when I hit a hole or large bump.

Some shudder/feedback is to be expected.

If you have not had the car aligned after all the suspension work, you should do that first. That might address the tramlining.
