Check out photo and description in FerrariADs above.
The Trim was on the car when I purchased it. It is very thin, and can easily be removed, but it actually looks quite good. Especially on a black Boxer. It flows into the lines of the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
OK, Will sell the '83 Black Boxer @ $135K / and will keep the '84 Red Boxer. Image Unavailable, Please Login
i have seen the bumper trim on two other cars in the past. both were florida cars. one i remember we as being represented by ed waterman. obviously a federaization item. pcb

Just got the latest Cavallino Magazine, it states these are between $100K to $200K, and going up. This is a fully sorted Boxer, that runs and performs above and beyond, where everthing works, even the A/C, is 1 of just 27 in Nero/Nero produced for the year, and is also just one of a few Ermenegildo Zegna Edition, with virgin wool inserts, and special stitching, @ only $126.5K, this represents a very good deal for someone. I like to think of this as my BLACK BABY ENZO. I have a RED BOXER as well, but for some reason, this car draws more attention and favorable comments. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think Black works great on that car, does it have a California Bar Sticker, making it eligible for sale in CA?
Beautiful car. A bit partial to black Boxers! Semi off topic - Is a BAR sticker always an actual 'sticker' or does the record of its certified follow the VIN, sticker or not? My car was in California for over 10 years, but has no physical sticker.
Tony: The car was originally imported into California in May of 1983 where it was brought into US conformity and the bond was released in August of 1983. I do not know for how many years it stayed in California, but I have owned the car for 3 years now, and I cannot find a current CA Bar Sticker on it. Since it was originally certified in California, maybe it can once again be registered in California. You might want to check with someone who would have this knowledge in California. If you have interest, and can work it out, you will thoroughly enjoy this car, because it runs like stink !!
It's just a guess, but I would think that if the car was originally certified for a BAR sticker there should be a paper trail someplace. And if so, if the sticker is missing, it could possibly be re-issued. If it never had a BAR sticker, it is next to impossible to have the car certified today, although I understand it is just barely possible. The short story, if you live and register your cars in CA, it's much simpler to buy a car that has the BAR sticker intact and legible, as well as history that it can in fact pass the CA smog test. Like my car, which might be for sale shortly John
If the car has ever had a repaint including doorjambs, it is possible the sticker was not replaced. Otherwise, the sticker is affixed and there should definitely be paperwork accompanying it. As John points out, pretty sticky and expensive process to get a car certified in CA today. Nice looking Boxer save those damnable side markers, it makes me crazy we required those on so many US cars. Looks great in black, but you could say that about any color as Boxers are a drop dead gorgeous design.
William, The paint is 90% original, including the door jambs. Only the lower rocker panels on each side have been painted, and one or two small area's. All jambs, and F/R bonnet area's are all original to the car.
