    Does anyone know if you can buy over the counter alternator belts at like autozone, Napa, etc for an 83 308 qv? If so, does anyone have a part number? Did a search, but couldn't seem to find.

    I took my belt to the local napa store and had them measure it. They were not able to get me the belt, but with the measurements, I was able to find the belt online at a greatly reduced cost. good luck.

    I should mention that the "stock" alt belt did not fit properly on my car. It was a touch too long.

    You can buy them directly at Gates.
    On my 1983 US QV I have these installed:

    AC: GATES 11M925
    WATER PUMP+ALTERNATOR (early QV): GATES 7M1000

    Thanks guys! I appreciate the info. Just got my first ferrari over the weekend and am getting together a "laundry list" of things to do!
