Popular topic these days. Noticed the fluid level was down on the master and a small puddle on the garage floor in front of the left rear tire. Slave cylinder needs replacing. Ordered an aftermarket and started taking things apart. The new one, the groove for the snap ring is short by 2mm. Ouch. Tomorrow is calling the parts distributor and see what is going on. DELPHI LL70309 works on my car
    TWR PNC111 for the master.
The bore is slightly larger in diameter, so if you work with original dimensions on the master it will require more travel to fill the bigger volume.

Looks like the old Bosch part and bracket were installed in the mid 90s. So the simple solution is I ordered the bracket that matches the new slave cylinder. Now I am WOP. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Parts have arrived. But not as simple as it could be. Having to combine old parts with new. The boot and the clutch connecting pin were both too short and different. So used the old boot and pin. The installation is complete and wheels are back on the ground. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hi, I have a 3.2, but it all looks the same as yours from your pictures.
Assuming it is (which I can't confirm) I can tell you I just used BOSCH 0 986 486 573 part on mine, and it is a perfect back-to-back fit, boot included. Just the pin (item #38) is different and I had to re-use the OEM. It is the OEM 13/16" dia, plus it has the 2-seals arrangement that is supposed to last longer, and an 8mm hex bleeder, which is more sensible than the 7mm stock
By the way in my case gear shifting has improved and clutch action feels a "better quality", for lack of a better definition.
Bought for 33€ (35USD) 24h home delivery included...
Here is a pic showing old OEM still connected to the hose vs new Bosch.
    I hope it helps.

Sometimes I like to go with new parts. The bore gets worn and an may not seal well. Thanks for the suggestion.
