Oh My Gawd.....that sounds totally wicked !!!! I've heard an F50 with some type of exhaust that had that same "shrill" sound...just makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Is there a way to get a similar sound out of an old Testarossa?

Does MS Racing also make a similar system with cat-bypass control like Kreissieg and Capristo?

No, the Valvetronic is pointless. You lose horsepower driving with the valvetronic on. We lost over 100 HP on our 6.0L with the valvetronic closed. It's great for coming home late, but other then that, no reason to have IMO. And, the MS is alot cheaper then Kreissieg.

Mmmmh. Sounds gay, IMHO. Way to high pitched for my liking. I like it better when it barks ...

I believe Roy has an ABD Bad boy exhaust on his silver/blue Murci. Perhaps he can post a video clip.

Also, does anyone have a sound/video clip of a Murci with Larini and/or Cargraphic pipes?

It sounds a bit loud and high pitched for everyday use...... however for the track or for those lonely highway it sounds great.

I for one think that the flip of a switch though the system offered by Kreis-sieg or ?? Capristo should be present for the best of both worlds....... more than just for creeping home quietly but also for those times that the wonderful eyes of the law are asfixed upon you. The fact that one might loose a bit of HP when in closed mode should be of no concern because that is when the gal is in stealth mode...... when exercersing her ...flip the switch and all heck breaks loose. But the key word here is "MIGHT" because the only Kreis-sieg system that was tested and had a verified loss in normal mode was a Diablo...... but again it made power when in F1 mode.

A lot has changed with the Kreis-sieg mufflers designed and used primarily in normal mode since that system was installed a couple years ago. As such I suspect the HP loss in normal mode has been reduced and in many cases it simply does not exist on the systems being offered today.

As I recall the Kreis-sieg lost power on the Diablo when in normal mode however she made more HP when compared to even the the MS-Racing when in F1 mode... Besides I was told by the owner of the Diablo; he prefers the sound of the Kreis-sieg over any other system out there... money no object.

Just my two cents..... in any case I enjoy cool sounding exhaust and this one sounds nice too.

    Thank you for sharing

    Take care

I'll have some dynos pretty soon on the Murcielago. Stock vs. Alex's setup as is. The sound clips don't do the GAL any justice. 5 people doing the same setup means that it must sound better then what you heard. The switch is child's play IMO...off.on.off.on.off.on.don't wake up mommy..off.screw that...No need to warm up the cats either..everything is good to go. Don't suspect anything that you have yet to prove. By the way, all jokes aside, if you want the last K Murci exhaust in the US..let me know, I'll give it to you under cost. We have no use for it. Yes, the "K" did make more power then the MS Racing on the Diablo, but you must understand, that dyno was with the headers as well. But, I'm not sure if John mentioned that to you. So, $10K exhaust + $8K headers only made 15-20 HP at the wheels. Wow, you're a great salesman if you can pull that off with HP#'s like that. Dyno your Murci with your K and we'll dyno our setup. I'd like to compare the two and see the comparison. Cheers.

    Mark:

My intention was not to upset you; only to share the broader picture. This is what open forums are designed for. A great place to share a variety of real time experiences from which data points are collected by many and then typically decissions are made by few.

Mark after this reply I will graciously remove myself from this thread rather than participate in any personal bantering between us. I see that you initiated the thread and probably should have stayed clear but I felt like I had something good to share; aparently I was wrong. All you have to do in the future is open a thread..... clearly state that you want no alternate opinions or feed back but rather you want to share and have what is shared as a basis in fact. Cool....... a truly honestly presented completely biased situation; no worries.

Mark you and Alex know that I am a car guy .... just like many...... and yes I too like the cool pieces such as exhaust. I have no problem with the MS-Racing.... in fact if anything I think that it is a damn nice piece....... all I was saying is there are times that "Silence is Golden". Add to this all the concerns that many have shared including you about having the gals go through smog check; particularly in California..... the MS-Racing setup as you have presented is ....let's say way out side of the box.

Lastly, you make the flipping of the switch sound like some kids game..... when in fact for and by many it demonstrates a show of respect based on the circumstances and situation that one finds them and their car in.

Clearly you must have mis-read me. I'm not upset at all. I just find it funny that in every post you make, there's a sales pitch for the damn K exhaust. Coming from a man who has told me that he has so much business throughout the year that you don't need any more, yet you are on every forum, pitching and pitching the K exhaust. Any reason behind it? I wasn't here saying, buy this setup. I was simply showing some sound clips, and soon to be posted dyno sheets of our work we did on Alex's car. As he's said to you many times, this for us is a hobby. We will help whoever it is
that wants our help. Simple as that. If you like to participate in my posts, please feel free to do so. I have no problems with it. And, I was serious about my offer to you on the K. Call Alex, he told me tonight he would take care of you on it. That's why i mentioned it. Good luck on your new GAL!

To this day, Tracy Khrone's Murci GTR was the most "scary" V12 sound I have heard. This sounds just like it!

Darn I would love to know the "secret" of getting a sound like that !! Is it some type of sound chamber? Small diameter-high velocity pipes? Please let us know....I WANT THAT SOUND !!

There really is no secret..the car is running an MS Racing exhaust and a set of fabricated straight pipes that we made in-house. No more cats and a good exhaust to ease the back pressure. I'll have more sound clips in time!

What rpms are you hitting in the clip coming down the road? It sounds crazy-high oncoming! I just can't get enough of that sound. Where is MS Racing located? I must try and get a hold of them to see if they'd do a Testarossa. Thank You for the clips and information.

MS Racing is a Japanese company. I don't believe they make it for a Testarossa, sorry. RPM wise, I don't believe it was taken to REDLINE.

No dyno results yet, we haven't had the time to visit our friends 4WD dyno to get it on the rollers. Unfortunately our dyno is only good for 2WD. I'll definitley have it posted once we get them though.
