Couple of questions about what's correct.
    1. As I understand it on the BBI Ferrari (all years) switched from a briefcase tool kit to a soft tool bag (like the 308) with a soft leather bag which matches the interior color to stow the tool kit in. They didn't change the tool kit mounting system in the front right of the car. So is the Soft leather bag with tool kit inside mounted there or carried someplace else? Picture details it mounted in stock location.

    2. My car has a light in the front compartment. I'm not sure if it's original to the car but sure appears to be. The wiring and connectors appear authentic as does the light. There is an extra switch in the drivers front jam, similar to the interior light switch as far as operation goes. Its currently not hooked up but I think it was used to insure the front compartment light wasn't left on when the door is closed. I'm wondering if this is part of the federalization or BAR process as a couple of other things are added or operate differently than original due to federalization. Picture details light in front compartment.

    Thanks

Take a picture of the area by the left hood latch. I haven't seen one without. 51803 has one.

I'm not referencing the "bonnet open / closed" switch. I'm sure the switch in the door jam (see pic) is not stock. Just wondering why its there as it wasn't hooked up when I got the car a couple of months ago. Don't know if it was somehow associated with the federalization.

Some DOT cars have buzzers under the dash or the key in the ignition and seatbelt buckle which could be tied into the door being opened. Big brother saving us from ourselves. An aftermarket alarm is also a possibility as Romano said.
