Beautiful car Michael! Can you possibly elaborate more on why a total engine rebuild in less than 20,000 miles? Kind regards. Kim
Pretty sure it's a US car 'cause the exhaust cover. Looks great!! The lower front spoiler with the horse just really takes these to the next level looks wise. IMO
The deep front spoiler is a Euro market feature --- but, IIRC it was also available as an option for US. And, the amber / white front parking lamp lenses are Euro, but some folks have added them later to US cars. Car does have US side marker lights and a US speedo.,,, but then again, those could have been added later too. Exhaust cover too, as you mention it is US --- but not necessarily original. That's why I ask.
Mike, could you post the VIN ? That would resolve the question about Euro vs. US market build. Thanks
That is the 1st time I've heard that there is a difference between the engine covers ---- what is it exactly ? Or, are you referring to the lower cover (over the exhaust tips / muffler) ?
US Spec cars have louvers in a U shape on the engine cover, whereas Euro cars only have louvers down each side. The US one is to allow extra cooling for the catalytic converters. Euro: Image Unavailable, Please Login US: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cool --- thanks ! I am happy to learn something new about the 308 ---- and that has not happened for a very long time
