Can anyone tell me the color code for the speaker wires?(which one is + or - )I'm going to install a new stereo and power amp(hidden) and want the speakers in phase. The wiring diagram only shows 2 wires to each of the front speakers- no polarity and I don't feel like removing the door panels just to look. (I removed the old stereo without marking them, not that they were correct anyway) I searched the threads and couldn't find it anywhere.

Just hook up one speaker (it doesn't matter about the polarity) while you
have a cd playing with good bass, hook the other speaker up while
listening, changing polarity of the 2nd speaker back and forth. The
incorrect phase will sound tinny, while the correct phase will sound fuller
with more bass. Just be somewhat careful not to accidentally touch
your speaker wires to ground or hot wires. You should already have those
    insulated anyway.
I have installed at least 1000 car stereos so far and this method always
works when in doubt about the color code. The factory or PO may not
have had the phase right anyway.
