    My 1985 Straman 400i is in need of a radiator and expansion tank. Anyone have any ideas where to get one? I already tried Ricambi . Next step is to try and retrofit an aluminum one from a camaro or something.

    Invariably, there's almost always a radiator or two listed for sale on ebay. Have you not checked there?

    Ferrari expansion tanks are about $700, IIRC.

    I hear that there is a Jaguar expansion tank available (not sure which model, XJ6 maybe?) for less than half that amount.

    Can't help you on the radiator, sorry.

    Try to get your local radiator shop to recore your original radiator. I had my 308 recored using my original tanks and headers the cost was around $500.00. The best part was I did not have try to make it fit my car, as I was using the original fittings and mounts.

    Cores can be purchased by the square inch so the new core is an easy fit to your old tanks.

    I have a NOS radiator that I bought with some other items when I shop was closing. It is in perfect condition and I actually have an ad for it on this forum (unless it expired). Shipping is an issue since it is bulky and heavy. Where are you located? Send PM and lets make a deal!
