Hello everybody, it's been a while. Issue with my US 308 that I should have addressed a long time ago, . I'm in AZ, 55 degrees this AM. Situation report: Started up the car in the garage, 2800 RPM,takes about 15 minutes to warm up and the RPM to return to about 1100. Went to Verizon to get a case for my cell, 15 minutes tops!!. When I restarted the car, the RPM are at 3K, AS IF THE CAR SAT IN THE GARAGE OVERNIGHT.Took about another 10 minutes to get going again. Once warmed up, it performs flawlessly. About 2 years ago I replaced the cat with a straight pipe, could this be the issue? I've owned the car since 2004, and I don't remember when I first encountered this problem . Like Martin Lawrence would say: What the problem is!!!!! Any thoughts, ideas, solution will be highly appreciated. Best regards to all. Thank you, Ted.

A cold and hot start issue. Could also be the warm up regulator, vacuum leak or the cold start injector which would relate to all of the problems mentioned here. It will take some tiem to check all of the components to sort it out. If you're not a DIY'er take it to a shop and they can work it out for you.
