Yeah man! Hope is keeps going up. Don't think I'll sell any time soon, but you never know. Nice car btw.
I went and looked at this car yesterday. I didn't have a lot of time to look at it but the car looked very clean. The service records went back to 97 when it was at 30,0000 miles. There are no records at all prior to that and the dealer was unsure of the number of owners. The 30,000 service was done in 98 or 99. They got the car from CNC motors apparently it belonged to a private collector since 97. This is the 1st 3x8 I have looked at and was looking for an opinion on whats a realistic price on this car. The car is at a very large Porsche dealer in SoCal so I'm sure they are asking more than market price on this. I've have seen other used cars there that I know from personal experience are way to high. Also pardon my ignorance but is the shift pattern. 1 through 5 starting at the top left and the reverse in the bottom right? With the clutch pedal to the floor and engine not running I could not get the gear shifter to go to the far left up or down. It stopped in between the H pattern on what would be the horizontal line of the H. Thanks, any feed back on this would be appreciated. Andrew G
Andrew, 308 basics: 1st is at rear of the car ("bottom") left. Then you push up a dog-leg front as 2 is in the middle front, 3 is middle bottom; dog-leg again for 4 which is at right front, 5 right bottom. Rear is in front of 1st, but you must push the stick downwards first. Rgds
