    I've had my QV for about a year now and its been running fine. About a month ago I tried to start it and it felt like not enough juice coming from the Battery to get it turning - jumped and no problem. Just tried again today and the battery was fine - turned the key and starter wouldn't turn. Tried to jump it and still nothing from the starter (You can hear it delivering juice but nothing is turning). Considered a push start but since I was by myself I thought that was probably not a good idea. Battery checks OK and I wouldn't be surprised if it started tomorrow, but any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    When you say nothing from the starter, not even a clicka?

    Get a multi meter and connect up a wire to measure the solenoid output, if that is ok then check the starter terminal for voltage. Not sure what you mean by being able to hear the juice being delivered ?
    Is the car fitted with the extra starter motor relay kit ?
    You need to know if you are getting power to both the solenoid and the starter

    My 85 QV starter required rebuilding about a year ago. Same symptoms. Make all electrical checks first. I took it to a starter/generator repair shop. It cost less than $75. The drive gears had frozen and wouldn't turn. I noticed it spins much faster after the rebuild.
