I am looking to change the wheels on my 85 QV euro 308. It has the 390 metric wheels on it. Any ideas on what i can put on it in 17" range that will not require any modification except maybe adding spacers. I was looking at 360 wheels.

For 17" there's only one option that looks right- Speedline 3pc . Not cheap but they have a period look to them (288 GTO,F40) that compliments the car perfectly.

Modern wheels on a 308 look out of place for the most part. The car is considered a classic at this point, no need to make it look newer.

What are the 390 metric wheels? I'm still somewhat new here and don't know that term. I just bought an '85 QV from Wade (308nut on here). It's on 18" wheels that meet your criteria (just needs spacers), but I'd rather have the stock 16"s. Would you be interested in trading?

A failed experiment into worldwide metrification in the 1980s ;)

390mm wheels are exactly that -- wheels needing a (special and now expensive) tire specifically designed for a 390mm diameter road wheel. The larger F models of the same era used 415mm diameter wheels which are equally troubl$ome to deal with.

The good news is that this became such an issue for our community that KN wheels developed very respectable (IMO) 7x16" and 8x16" aluminum 308B/S reproduction wheels at more reasonable cost than the (now rare) 16" stock "light alloy" wheels -- many F part suppliers sell them...

Ah, thanks for the heads up. So it looks like they aren't what I'm looking for! My offer stands to anybody who does have the stock 16"ers though!

In your journey looking for wheels, I am looking for a pair of stock 16 X 8 rear wheels for my 85GTS,

My car came with 16 X 7 on all four corners.
