    Hi Guys..
    Is there a trick to taking out the Battery? It's a piece of cake to get to in my 308 but the mondial it looks like I have to got through the wheel weel...
    any ideas??

    If it is the same as my 84 mon, then you can get the battery out though the top.
    Open bonnet move washer bottle and there is about 6 nuts and bolts to undo, a panel comes out and the battery is accessable. There is also a cover over the battery, mine has gone, this also needs to come out.

    just looked, i'll try that.. there's no battery cover..also have the alarm connections to deal with, looks like no one has ever removed this panel, which makes me suspicious.. also do you know why i can't jump this car.. with the alarm (have no experience with alarms) i can't jump the car..
    any ideas?

    I replaced the battery several months ago and you have to remove the right front wheel and remove the battery through the fender liner. I matched up the battery at my local NAPA dealer for something like 45.00. Good luck . MBG
