    The weirdest thing just started happening lately to my '86 mondial3.2. She will get warmed up and I will go out driving and when I stop the car will often stall. The rpms will go down to like 100 and it will almost die and then go back up to just under 1000. I recently re-did the electrical connection to the warm-up regulator but its not consistent so i'm not sure what it could be. Last week it was actually going up and down a few hundred rpms trying to get to a steady idle.

    I am wondering what can cause this?

    This exact thing use to happen to my old '91 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible, and I used to hear this complaint quite a bit by owners of cars of the same vintage. The fix frequently was simply spraying carb/choke spray into the throttle body butterfly, which would get enough deposits on it to stick just a smidge.

    hmmm..... I will try a can of my MAF cleaner to see what it does.
