Hey, I am new to the board and I have been reading past posts all day, this site is a great bank of information. I purchased an 86 TR about a year ago and just recently I had some work done to get it tuned right. Well my clutch is definitely in need of some attention. The car has 27000 miles on it and I am looking to do the 30000 mile service soon. Since I have owned the car I have only put on about 100 miles or so due to some early problems I had with the car. For now, I really want to take care of the clutch, could someone please fill me in on what something like this costs? Where can I find parts? Is there anything else I should change while I am in there replacing the clutch? And as for doing the major service, how much does something like that cost when it is all said and done? Thank you.
Hello mate. Welcome. There are a few ways to go about your TR major service and TR clutch job. Pay someone.........or do it yourself. There are lots of TR threads on here regarding both.
