New paint job and all that work tells me it's been sitting for a looong time. The carfax shows the first history they have on the car is in 1991 at 11K miles. Then there is a period of almost 6 years(1/01- 11/06) where the car reportedly was driven only 150 miles. The dealer doesn't have any prior maintenance records for the car.

The most troubling aspect of the "early" Straman conversions to me is the flex and the fact that the fuel filler cap is directly over the exhaust manifolds. I am glad to hear that William's is modified. Whoever buys that Ebay car better have a fire extinguisher handy.

I like the look of the TR chopped. At one point I thought I might buy one but this one has enough red flags to make me pass.

This is a warning to anyone looking at that car on ebay. Run dont walk. Its a Turd. I have two "Ferrari Expert Friends" that inspected the car today. The car has no cats the top does not close properly and the engine runs like Crap. The Dealer is a couple of Iranians and havnt a clue how to sell a car like this. Its not an 80k car its a 25,000 dollar Ferrari. RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN..........................

The car could have frame damage. Looked like a Pretsel....

A Testarossa spyder, is simply so pimpin.

It is ashame the factory dropped the ball, by not producing a few genuine factory spyders for production.

There was the Testarossa convertible that Ferrari built for Gianni Agnelli, the president of Fiat. As someone else mentioned, Ferrari built some 512 TR convertibles for the Asian market - someone on this board has one.
