    Those are real knock offs, then....they do indeed look very nice and solve some tire fitment of the OEM rims.

    Hello 4rre,

    I noticed back in 2018 you had considerable work done on the transmission where a number of the gears, sliders, bearing and synchro's were replaced. I'm curious if anything felt odd when shifting prior to the work being done? I'm sure it was better overall after, but I'm curious what the warning signs might be. Did you notice anything in particular before that went away? thanks,

    Yes, I was actually driving the car to the shop for a general oil change and noticed a lot of resistance going into 2nd gear. I use to race Porsches and broke a shifter fork on the track in my 993 so I knew there was a problem. Sure enough when they pulled the drain plug on the trans there were metal flakes stuck to the magnet. That's the point when you pull out your checkbook....
    I always treated the Testarossa with kid gloves, so I can't explain why this happened. The good news is it basically has a new transmission now and shifts / drives like a dream.
