Please help! It appears I need to replace my clutch master cylinder. Can anyone give me the step-by-step instructions on how to do that? I have done all of the tests, and it points to that as the problem. The clutch and slave cylinder are relatively new with less than 2,000 miles on it.

The biggest issue appears to me is access under the dash. I am sure I can pop out the retaining pin, but putting it back looks to be near impossible.

Melvok- I did a search and othing came up re: the steps for replacing it. Did get many hits discussing problems with clutch master and "slave" cylinder located in the bell housing. If you have any luck finding the thread, I would appreciate you sending it to me.

    Thnaks for responding.

I made a little tool to slide the pin back into the slot of the new master cylinder and linkage. Bled the system and now works perfectly.
